Ash Wednesday

Wednesday, 14 February 2018 is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. As part of the commitment that we have to maintain and support the links with our feeder parishes and schools, our students will have the opportunity to attend Mass in their own Parish. This means that students will go directly to their Parish Church in the morning instead of coming to school. There are four different Parish Churches that the students will be attending.

They are:

St Patrick’s Sutherland

St Catherine Laboure Gymea

St Joseph’s Como

Our Lady Star of the Sea Miranda

All students will be required to attend the Parish to which they belong and have been reminded by their PC teacher. Students will be required to make their own way to their Parish Church and be ready to meet our teachers before 8.40am for roll call. If students have been directed to attend St Patrick's Parish, they come to school and meet in the schoolyard at 8.30am as normal.

Students need to be neatly dressed in their uniform and bring their school bag ready for the remainder of the day.
